Led the global rebranding of Jacobs, creating a unified identity system that connected every touchpoint, from shelf to screen.

At the heart of the redesign was the reinvention of the brand's most distinctive asset: the Golden Band. Evolving from a packaging element into a flexible brand device, it became a recognizable visual language across packaging, retail, digital, e-commerce, CRM, and brand communications.

Designed with the entire communications funnel in mind, the system increased brand recognition at awareness, strengthened product storytelling during consideration, improved navigation and shelf impact at purchase, and delivered a more consistent brand experience after conversion.

The result was a globally scalable identity that preserved Jacobs' heritage while creating a stronger, more distinctive brand across markets, channels, and consumer journeys.

Client Personal Project

I started a music project called “Odense“ back in the summer of 2007, finally while being in between jobs in 2022 I grabbed to opportunity to focus myself on this music project for 2 months. I have been writing, recording and mastering my debut album called “Odes“ inclusing B-Side material from our tiny laundry room in Amsterdam.

the album was launched on November 1st via Spotify, Amazon, Apple and other platforms.

A special double vinyl edition made out of recycled waste collected from ocean waters, some live performances are planned for 2023. Each proceed will be donated to Ocean Clean Up.

Fun facts:
– A-dam made use of the track “Geysers” for the new Winter Collection campaign.

– ”Odes” was written and recorded within 8 weeks from inside a tiny Amsterdam based laundry room.

– Cover work was made together w/ my 3 year old son.

– I started this project from a bedroom in Rotterdam back in 2007.

Back in 2007the UMC Utrecht Hospital needed to invest in attracting more students and young professionals. To grab the attention of our younger target audience we knew ‘serious’ wouldn’t work and went looking for an event concept that would work for the day itself and communication around it.

We created a 360 event concept called “The UMC Do it yourself day”, the only day at the hospital where you can really try everything yourself. The visual concept was inspired by regular DIY store communication: manuals, helmets, display concepts, clothing, art work and tone of voice. And combined it with clinical treatments.

We targeted the right schools and universities with direct mail, invitations and print ads in and around the location. This simple creative strategy proved to be very effective and as a result the DIY day has been running since for 14 years straight.

In 2017, Ebay launched a new gaming platform which offered both hardware and software for all gaming platforms.

To reach hard core gamers with little budget during the GAMESCOM 2017 edition we created a simple campaign only they would understand.

We worked together with STOËR Media, Gamers, Gamescom and Ebay ensuring visibility through all channels.

The Europe-wide introduction campaign of the new BMW C 400X resolves around the idea that when you drive around with the BMW scooter you’re able to connect more with your surroundings, in this case the urban jungle. Making the most of your commute.

In addition we created assets for the worldwide introduction at EICMA 2017 in Italy.

To reach out to Automotive Press we announced the launch of the new i30 Fastback N along with the mention of a record attempt, racing from Rome to Paris. The challenge was picked up very well by the press, from TopGear Magazine to Auto Bild. All writing about the silly attempt. In the end we raced from Rom to Paris - in Denmark. With a little budget we were able to get the attention from the press, helping us to tease more about the upcoming launch of the new Fastback N.

This campaign is all about sensors, cameras, radars and many other smart tech. And guess what? We made it human.

Humans are deeply sophisticated systems. And yet, we’re not perfect. That’s why Hyundai equipped all i-Range models with a package of techy stuff that looks out for you on the road. As this is quite a long story, we found a way to tell it in just two words: Human Ready.

Our launch film was built on a universal insight: the promises we all make before going on a journey. The ones we often make without even thinking.

While overcoming our own human flaws (first lockdown..) we still managed produce the campaign and break it into all channels. Social media edits, Insta Stories, banners, and even some good old print ads; making the campaign hard to miss across Europe.

For the Euro Cup 2016 we created a European campaign for the Volkswagen Allstar Sondermodelle. To promote these special models we worked together with the players from the German national team, where technology and the internet would help them prepare for Paris 2016.

To get our soccer fans already in the mood before the EuroCup started we launched a complete set of 149 custom made emojis called “Fanjis“, allowing German soccer fans to express themselves without losing the Euro Cup spirit.

Growing up with friends and family working in the medical field I was surprised to learn how little people actually knew about the amount of hours these people put into their job, in the hopes of making a difference in someone else’s life. We owe a lot to these people and all the others who’re invisible but serve our society daily.

This project came to mind after we saw large groups of people criticizing medical staff in the media. I was surprised to learn that the actual heroes hardly get the recognition they deserve, in comparison to people who “think different”. Not to diminish the people featured in the famous Apple spot - but to raise a valid question: when does someone become an important figure? and how do we define important?

We knew that the Apple spot would serve as a vehicle for the idea, the only thing we needed to do was to launch a website and create social-media content in the hopes it would have a voice. And it did, through the support of the right influential people and their platforms we reached impressive results.
