The Dutch private lease market is crowded, and with 80% of young adults avoiding traditional media, ANWB Private Lease needed an innovative, budget-friendly promotion. Millions of young people enjoy Gran Turismo 7, so we turned the game's car design editor into an in-game ad platform, showcasing actual rl lease models during other players' livestreams. We’ve also launched a live in-game racing competition together no1 Dutch gaming channel GameKings and drove a live version of the in-game to the most popular gaming event of the world Gamescom.

The campaign, initially Dutch, achieved over 31 million impressions, boosted consideration to and all-time high of 54%, and increased preference to 45%, making it an annual event with GameKings.

Intolerance is often fuelled by the unknown. It begins with words and can lead to physical acts of violence. Today, the UNESCO International Day for Tolerance, sees the launch of “The Bookcase for Tolerance'' created by Innocean Berlin in collaboration with Media.Monks. Under the motto #DontHateEducate, the project uses the power of personal testimonials to educate people and to influence their attitude and behaviour towards those considered "different".

The app, website and docuseries give a unique insight into the lives of Anne Frank and four young people facing discrimination. All so we can live in a tolerant world. A world without discrimination.

Client Charité Berlin University Hospital

Printed by Parkinson's is an innovative project aimed at raising awareness of Parkinson's disease and its everyday implications.

In collaboration with INNOCEAN, Charité's Movement Disorder and Neuromodulation Section, and production partner MediaMonks Amsterdam, the project combines design with medical and neuroscientific expertise to create unique artworks. Bronze sculptures were crafted using personal objects selected by patients alongside their neurophysiological health data. Patient interviews featured in accompanying films highlight the personal stories behind each art piece.

The collection is permanently exhibited at the Humboldt Forum Museum in Berlin and Charité's Medical and Neuroscientific Department.

Hyundai N – the high-performance division of Hyundai – briefed us to reposition their brand globally from the ground up and help launch five new models, we knew this N spirit had to be our northern star.

Our challenge: to not only talk to their current petrol-head fanbase, but also to those who never just do things for the sake of getting it done. Those who go all the way, with gusto. That’s when “Never just drive” was born.

But we just didn’t stop there. Modular from the get-go, this revamp lived on dozens of social-media assets, product films, prints and OOH’s which helped re-launch the N brand on a global stage.

Every year more journalists are being missing, imprisoned or killed.
The issue is that most of us (citizens) are unaware of the circumstances and secondly lack the knowledge to link freedom of press to democracy. As a result every journalist missing instantly becomes invisible and the topics silenced.

The need for an accessible ‘vehicle’ to help spread and provide important insights & key learnings was growing.

The Erased Font was launched on the 3rd of May 2023 to help visualise the increasing attacks on press freedom, by erasing 363 words, one for each journalist that was reporting on and went missing.

Users could easily retrieve the Erased Font file from a GitHub repository, without needing to manually download anything, and integrate the font into their own projects as desired. All to help spread the awareness but more important to help make the invisible visible.

The font will be updated annually, to reflect the growing number of journalists silenced. In case we are unable to put a halt to it.

The Nikon Df offers the latest Nikon technology in a retro body that is based on the very first Nikons of the 1950's, the models F and FM.

We created a campaign that is inspired by the Nikon F ads created by graphic designer Kamekura in the 1950’s. So, instead of explaining each feature and usp in our ads, we decided to solve it trough art. Resulting in a series of posters, all speaking in their very own way about the product and its benefits, with a retro voice.

Hyundai has always been driven by progress. It's what turned a once-local company into the world’s sixth-largest carmaker. But while the cars were making waves in Europe, something was missing: a proper introduction. For decades, Hyundai had been seen, but not fully understood.

So we took Europe back to where it all began: Korea. To the story of a farmer named Chung Ju-Yung, whose vision didn’t just reshape his country, but helped shape the world. Directed by Dante Ariola, the campaign told Hyundai’s origin story with cinematic depth and emotional truth.

Tied together by the tagline Next Awaits, the film marked more than just a look back. It was a bold step forward, one that earned AdAge Editor’s Pick, Bronze at Cresta and shortlists at the London International Awards, New York Festivals, and Ciclope Awards.

The campaign amplifies the purpose of the landmark case that AllRise filed at the International Criminal Court. While the ICC is now investigating the case, the planet’s united voice already brought the discussion to take legal action against eco-criminals back on the world agenda.

I started a music project called “Odense“ back in the summer of 2007, finally while being in between jobs in 2022 I grabbed to opportunity to focus myself on this music project for 2 months. I have been writing, recording and mastering my debut album called “Odes“ inclusing B-Side material from our tiny laundry room in Amsterdam.

the album was launched on November 1st via Spotify, Amazon, Apple and other platforms.

A special double vinyl edition made out of recycled waste collected from ocean waters, some live performances are planned for 2023. Each proceed will be donated to Ocean Clean Up.

– A-dam made use of the track “Geysers” for the new Winter Collection campaign.

Popcorn dominates movie nights — but Doritos wasn’t about to sit this one out. So we found a way in: through the new popular Minecraft movie.

We created The Nether Lands — an Augmented Reality experience set in the game’s infamous underworld, reimagined with a Dutch twist. Fans could step into the villain’s realm and make it their own.

Portals appeared across the country — and even Doritos bags became gateways — inviting anyone to mine, craft, and battle for the ultimate prize: an 18-carat golden Dorito.

Fans across The Netherlands entered. And just like that, Doritos became more than a snack — it became the experience.

The production for the European D7100 campaign photograph involved a 14-day journey to the most active volcano in world: The Erta Ale in Ethiopia.

This was not a photograph we were taking, we were making everlasting memories and friendships. While biting the dust I have never seen a landscape change that often as in Ethiopia. There isn’t anything alike, its beyond words and description.

We found out that people elevate the taste of their leftovers and less-preferred veggies with a dollop of Heinz. Through a series of outdoor posters featuring the tagline ‘Helping reduce food waste since 1869’, we illustrate three different time periods where food that would have otherwise been thrown away is consumed instead. We depict scenes from 1920, 1974 and 2024.

The campaign ran at premier hotspots in Amsterdam, including the Dam square and Central Station. Amplified by PR, the campaign reached millions of people to do the same.

99.9% of the campaign is created with A.I., except the Heinz bottles.

Client Personal project

Growing up with friends and family working in the medical field I was surprised to learn how little people actually knew about the amount of hours these people put into their job, in the hopes of making a difference in someone else’s life. We owe a lot to these people and all the others who’re invisible but serve our society daily.

This project came to mind after we saw large groups of people criticizing medical staff in the media. I was surprised to learn that the actual heroes hardly get the recognition they deserve, in comparison to people who “think different”. Not to diminish the people featured in the famous Apple spot - but to raise a valid question: when does someone become an important figure? and how do we define important?

We knew that the Apple spot would serve as a vehicle for the idea, the only thing we needed to do was to launch a website and create social-media content in the hopes it would have a voice. And it did, through the support of the right influential people and their platforms we reached impressive results.

1.5 billion plastic toothpaste tubes end up in landfills or as pollution in the ocean, annually. Smyle dental care products contain zero plastic or microplastics, finally giving consumers the choice to brush without leaving a footprint.

Our mission is twofold— to get more Smyle products onto store shelves & into consumer bathrooms, and to spread their sustainable philosophy as widely as possible.

Client: UMC Utrecht

Back in 2007the UMC Utrecht Hospital needed to invest in attracting more students and young professionals. To grab the attention of our younger target audience we knew ‘serious’ wouldn’t work and went looking for an event concept that would work for the day itself and communication around it.

We created a 360 event concept called “The UMC Do it yourself day”, the only day at the hospital where you can really try everything yourself. The visual concept was inspired by regular DIY store communication: manuals, helmets, display concepts, clothing, art work and tone of voice. And combined it with clinical treatments.

We targeted the right schools and universities with direct mail, invitations and print ads in and around the location. This simple creative strategy proved to be very effective and as a result the DIY day has been running since for 14 years straight.

We were asked to introduce the new Nikon 1 to the European markets. And instead of creating a product/highlight campaign we found a simple route, “I AM ONE CLICK AHEAD”, that allowed us to roll out the campaign focussing on the main USP and explain a feature that was until that moment unheard of.
